Inputs used by the calculator

The calculator uses the selected stock vehicle's recorded price, the chosen deposit, a term of 36, 48 or 60 months and a 12.9% representative APR. Standard vehicle cards use 60 months and a £250 deposit unless a higher illustrated minimum deposit applies.

The calculation treats the stated APR as an effective annual rate, converts it to an equivalent monthly rate and applies equal monthly payments with no added fee in the website example.

02

What the output means

The result shows an estimated monthly payment and supporting figures such as amount of credit, total charge for credit and total payable. Rounding may mean displayed totals differ slightly from an eventual provider schedule.

The calculator does not assess income, expenditure, credit history, vehicle eligibility or provider criteria.

03

Why a provider quotation may differ

A provider may use a different APR, deposit, term, fee structure or calculation convention after assessing the applicant and vehicle. The website illustration is therefore not an offer, quotation, approval in principle or guarantee.

What APR does the calculator use?

It uses 12.9% representative APR for the website illustration.

Does the calculator check affordability?

No. It performs a mathematical illustration only.

Are fees included?

The website illustration assumes no fees. A provider's actual agreement may differ and must be reviewed before proceeding.

Will a lender use the same result?

Not necessarily. The provider sets the final rate, deposit, term, fees and payment.
