What no deposit means
A £0 cash deposit example finances the full illustrated vehicle price rather than reducing it with money paid upfront. That normally increases the amount of credit, monthly payment and total interest compared with the same example using a deposit.
No-deposit finance is not available to everyone or on every vehicle. A provider can require a deposit, change the term or decline the application after its own assessment.
Compare more than the upfront cost
Keeping cash available can be useful, but the higher amount borrowed may make the agreement more expensive overall. Compare the monthly payment, total charge for credit and total amount payable with a £250, £500 or larger deposit.
Consider insurance, tax, fuel, servicing and unexpected repairs as well as the finance payment. A lower-priced car may provide a more comfortable budget than extending the term solely to reduce the monthly figure.
- Amount borrowed with and without a deposit
- Monthly payment
- Agreement term
- Total charge for credit
- Total amount payable
A £0 illustration is not guaranteed finance
The on-site calculator does not assess creditworthiness, run a credit search or reserve a rate. It helps you compare examples before deciding whether to speak to the team.
If you continue, the relevant provider will explain the information, checks, deposit and terms it requires. Finance remains subject to status, affordability and provider criteria.
