Information a provider may request
Requirements vary between providers. Depending on the circumstances, you may be asked for recent bank statements, tax calculations or tax-year overviews, proof of address, identification and details of existing commitments.
Accurate information matters. Income can vary from month to month, so choose a monthly vehicle budget that remains manageable during quieter trading periods as well as stronger months.
- Proof of identity and address
- Recent personal or business bank statements
- Tax calculations or tax-year overviews where requested
- Details of regular commitments and living costs
Start with the vehicle and the full running cost
Select a current car and compare the illustration with insurance, tax, fuel, servicing and maintenance. A lender may also apply criteria based on the vehicle's age, mileage and value.
A deposit or accepted part exchange can reduce the amount of credit requested, but it does not guarantee acceptance or a particular APR.
An enquiry is not an approval
The form on this website sends an eligibility enquiry to our credit-broker team. It does not search your credit file or provide an approval in principle.
If you decide to proceed, the relevant provider will explain the evidence, checks and consent it needs before making its own status and affordability decision.
